A new updated has been announced by Bonnie Henry & The Provincial Government putting a ban on group fitness classes or those that cannot maintain 6' of social distancing. We have updated our schedule and protocols for then next 2 weeks to meet all recommendations & standards as outlined in the announcement HERE.
It's important to remember that our MASKS EVERYWHERE OUTSIDE YOUR BOX policy is still enforced starting Monday Nov 9th (read more)
Temporary Schedule Updates
- All [FF] Group Classes have been cancelled for 2 weeks
- We will now offer a variation of our [SPRT] Access to all members: [COVID] Individual Access
- These are accessible to active [FF] and [SPRT] Memberships
- There will be NO drop-ins allowed from non Raincity members / regulars
- This is in order to ensure we maintain our highest standard of cleanliness & all prior protocols
- 1-2 Coaches will be available at all times to:
- Answer questions regarding workouts
- Ensure safety and movement quality
- Ensure all COVID-19 protocols are adequately followed
- Start / stop clocks or setup timers as requested
- [COVID] Individual Access attendance limits
- There will be 5 people per scheduled block
- Blocks will be spread out by :30 to :60 minutes
- This will ensure there's no congestion on entering and exiting
- This will also help minimize the risk of too many athletes completing the same workout at the same time
- There will be a maximum of 10 athletes on the Annex & 8 Athletes (with overflow) on the OG
- This is down from 19-20 workout spaces utilized prior to allow additional social distance space
- Overflow 'OG LOW CEILING' spaces
- These spaces available in the 'low ceiling' area due to the limit put on capacity
- These overflow spaces will NOT allow:
- Loaded barbell overhead (if you're 5'8 or taller)
- Wallballs
- Kipping pullups (strict ok)
Temporary Reserving & Cancellation Changes
Due to the rapidly changing environment we have temporarily adjusted reservation & cancellation windows.
- Reservations open 24 hours in advance of up until 10 minutes prior
- Cancellations must be made 2 hours in advance - all no-show policies still apply (www.rncty.ca/no-show)
Other Adjustments Made:
- Workout Updates
- Workouts will be adjusted to be easier for athletes to follow & complete on their own
- Workout adjustments will minimize equipment utilized for the workouts
