If you register for a class (registration opens 50 hours prior to the class) you have up until 2 hours prior to cancel your reservation.
What happens if you don’t/can’t cancel in time?
As per your contract that you signed as part of your membership, you MAY be charged a $5 fee for the no-show if this is a regular occurrence or if it is a popular/fully booked class... but always follow the steps below.
What should I do?
- if you know you’re not going to make it (and the class is fully booked) we encourage you to post in the members Facebook group to try to fill your spot. If a member says they can/will take it then you’re off the hook, just e-mail [email protected] to inform us of the switch (asap).
If you take someone elses spot please ensure you are not ‘no-showing’ for a different class you may have been registered for, or you’re stuck in this same process.
- You will receive an e-mail the following day about your ‘no-show’ please reply to this e-mail with a reason (if you have one) and we will pull you out of the class (especially important for 3x/week or punch cards members so you don’t lose it).
- If you get in from the waitlist at the last second, please reply to the e-mail asap to let us know you will not be able to make it (or are doing another class instead) so we can pull you out asap.
Posting in the members group is not a valid form of cancelling. It’s merely out of respect for fellow members (and to avoid your late fee) if someone takes your spot.
Emailing [email protected] under 2 hours to let us know you cannot make it is welcomed, but you won’t be pulled out of the class until we get a response to the automated e-mail the following day.
